Ask Kenneth Cole Not to Be Kenneth Cruel |
Kenneth Cole has gone fur free: Kenneth Cole Committted to stop selling animal fur in all of its garments, handbags and other products starting with the fall 2007 fashion season; policy covers all brands and licensees.
Kenneth Cole, a designer well known for championing social causes, recently tarnished his reputation by selling fur-trimmed garments and accessories. Last season, fur-lined jackets and parkas and rabbit fur purses were offered to customers both online and in Kenneth Cole stores. Animal fur was also spotted on the runway at the Kenneth Cole show at Olympus Fashion Week in February—a sure sign that fur may again hang from the racks in Cole's stores next fall.
Well known for the commendable slogan, "What you stand for is more important than what you stand in," Kenneth Cole should agree that protecting furbearing animals is worth standing for...and you can help persuade him.
TAKE ACTION!
Please take just a minute to call 1-800-KEN-COLE (1-800-536-2653) and politely ask the company to stop selling real fur-trimmed garments and accessories. Inform the company that their customers are opposed to the immense suffering inflicted upon furbearing animals for fashion, and that the sale of real fur is at odds with the company's charitable work.
